Does anyone delete the temporary internet files in java?

i am having problems loading a game at iwin.com. i can play any game on that site but tangleword.(my favorite of course)and i'm pretty sure it is a java problem. (i have installed the new version).

i was chatting with someone who said to delete temp internet files in java. when i went to do that it said only advanced users should delete these files. does anyone know why? what harm could it do? any sincere help appreciated. thanx

Reply:I think all you need to do is clear the cache (temporary internet files) on your own computer. It's easy to do and does no harm. Click Tools, Delete Browsing History, Delete Files button, Yes.

I don't know about any Java cache and I've played many games and never messed with Java, but I have had to clear out my own cache on occasion because old files in there were causing interference with new files. Once cleared out, the game downloaded fine.
